Well, I expected to see some code to see how it actually can be implemented.
But in general, I enjoyed your presentation and got a good understanding for the basics (at least I hope so).

Btw, on wednesday, I visited the talk "Highly Interactive Websites: Implementing Comet" from Joe Walker.
He even admitted himself that Comet is nothing else than a big hack, but also showed some workarounds. It's mainly because of his talk, why I raised this question.

Any specific technical details you were hoping to see?

Is it a hack, or is it perfectly reasonable given that the delay introduced by the push is indistinguishable from a slow server (from the point of view of the HTTP protocol)?
